“We started missing lay-ups in the second half. We weren’t working as hard defensively as we needed too. They were throwing all kinds of defenses at us and we knew they wouldn’t give up. But I asked our team to step up their defense and they did.”
“I feel good about the SEC season. We’ve practiced hard ever since we got back from break, we just lost focus in this game. It’s about the journey, not where we are right now.”
“We were rushing the lay-ups, not taking our time. We have a great team and that’s not common for us. We aren’t going to dwell on it.”
“They (Princeton) fought throughout the whole game. They ran the whole time, just like we do. We were very similar is some aspects.”
“Our defensive problems were more of a communication issue. We switched defenses a lot. We just need to make sure everyone is on the same page.”

“I was really proud of my team and they way we played throughout most of the game. Between the eight- and four-minute marks they outscored us by 13 or 14 points, but I thought we answered their runs for the most part.”
“This is a very good Vanderbilt team. They are extremely good offensively, and they didn’t play poorly tonight. We played very well.”
