Michael Fox

Michael Fox came to the Vanderbilt Athletics video operations staff as manager of technical operations in November 2023 after working as a freelancer on Vandy’s SEC Network productions since 2016.

Previously, he had served as an event production specialist for the Nashville Predators for two years, assisting with game presentation at Bridgestone Arena and managing video control room operations. While on staff, Fox and the Preds’ game presentation team received the Stanley Award for NHL Game Presentation of the Year for the first time from the league in 2023. The award recognizes the overall excellence of a club’s game presentation team, including the successful execution of creative, entertaining, artistic, experimental, and technically complex elements within the game presentation.

Fox also has been a member of the Tennessee Titans game day production staff since 2020. He has also worked as a producer and director for ESPN+ broadcasts at Lipscomb, director, technical director and graphics operator for Nashville SC and ESPN college football and Friday Night Rivals productions, and technical director for Georgia SEC Network events.

Fox received his bachelor’s degree in journalism and new media from Lipscomb in 2014, and he added a master’s degree in higher education leadership from Mercer in 2016.
