• Father, Aaron, played football at Oklahoma State and Pittsburg State before playing in the NFL for the Titans and Falcons and spending six years in the Arena League, including 2004-07 with the Nashville Kats
• Father played at Pittsburgh State from 2000-03, earning All-America honors while Vanderbilt offensive coordinator Tim Beck was the offensive coordinator at Pitt State
