Paige Canfield joined Vanderbilt as a sports dietitian in 2022. She works primarily with football, lacrosse, soccer and track and field. 

Prior to joining the Commodores, Canfield completed the Gatorade Sports Nutrition Immersion Program at Connecticut (2021-22), where she worked closely with women’s rowing, women’s soccer, swimming and diving, track and field, and assisted with women’s basketball. 

Canfield started her career in 2014 at North Carolina State as an intern working primarily with the football program. She then served as a sports nutrition graduate assistant with the football team from 2018-20.

She received her undergraduate degree in applied nutrition and sport management from North Carolina State in 2018. She went on to earn her graduate degree in dietetics from Meredith College in 2020, and completed her dietetic internship at the University of Virginia Health System in 2021. 

Canfield, a Fuquay Varina, North Carolina, native, is a registered dietitian through the Commission of Dietetic Registration. She is also an active member of the Collegiate and Professional Sports Dietitians Association.
