2018
Wright missed the final two months of action… Played in five early-season games, with starting assignments against Middle Tennessee, Nevada, Notre Dame and South Carolina before a leg injury ended his campaign… Finished the year with eight unassisted tackles, 16 total tackles and a forced fumble… Had three solo tackles in victory over Nevada… Contributed season-high five stops against South Carolina… Added three tackles and a forced fumble in season-opening win over Middle Tennessee.

2017
Wright enjoyed an All-Southeastern Conference caliber campaign in his first year as a regular starter on the defense… Started all 12 games at outside linebacker, playing through midseason injuries… Topped the Commodores – and shared league lead – with nine quarterback sacks, the second highest total in team history behind only Alan Young’s 12-sack total in 1993… Established several other single-season highs, including 43 total tackles, 18 solo stops and 10.5 tackles for loss… Opened the season in sensational style, contributing three quarterback sacks among four tackles at Middle Tennessee, a sack and seven tackles against Alabama A&M and two sacks against Kansas State… Also posted two sacks in win over Western Kentucky… Registered six tackles against Alabama and Missouri… Ended the season with a sack in win at Tennessee.

2016
Wright enjoyed his biggest role as a Commodore, contributing in 12 games at outside linebacker… He finished the year with 13 total tackles, including nin solo stops, 3.5 tackles for loss, two quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and fumble recovery… He produced multiple tackles against four opponents: Florida, Georgia, Ole Miss and NC State in the Camping World Independence Bowl… Wright’s forced fumble came in the win over Tennessee; his fumble recovery came in the opener against South Carolina.

2015
Wright saw action in every game as a redshirt freshman outside linebacker and special teams contributor… Posted three tackles, including a quarterback sack, in victory over Austin Peay.

2014
Wright did not see action as a true freshman defensive player… Participated as linebacker on practice squads.
