2018
Rector played as a linebacker and special teams contributor in his fourth season… After moving to linebacker in the offseason, Rector participated in all 13 games… Earned solo tackles against Notre Dame, Tennessee State and Tennessee.
2017
Rector’s third year on campus was hindered by injuries… Participated in eight games, playing on special teams and as a safety… Contributed three tackles on the season, all coming in the Commodore victory over Alabama A&M.
2016
Rector participated in three games as a sophomore safety and special teams contributor… Registered tackles in early-season games against South Carolina and Georgia Tech… Also saw action against Florida.
2015
Rector saw action in nine games at a true freshman, participating as a reserve safety and special teams contributor… Punt block late in Kentucky was key special teams play in eventual win over Wildcats… Earned assisted tackles against South Carolina and Kentucky.
HIGH SCHOOL
Senior captain, three-year starter in secondary for Nashville private school… Started at CB as sophomore, then moved to safety prior to junior season… As senior, registered 56 tackles, three interceptions and three forced fumbles in six games prior to suffering injury… Earned Division II first-team All-State DB honors from sportswriters as senior… Also played WR/RB as senior… As junior, recorded 38 tackles, six interceptions and five defensed passes.

Andrew Hardisen Rector… Born Jan. 25, 1997 in Nashville… Son of Steve and Suzanne Rector… Working on a degree in human and organizational evelopment… Oldest of three siblings: a sister, Ally, and a brother, Wyatt… Dad works in health care administration… Dad played collegiately at Western Kentucky.
