Fugger finished off his finest Commodore season by earning second team All-Southeastern Conference honors in coaches[apos] postseason ballot… Also received honorable mention All-SEC by Associated Press writers… Ranked among the SEC[apos]s Top Ten defensive ends in both quarterback sacks (7.5, 5th) and tackles for loss (13.5, 3rd)… Also contributed team-high three forced fumbles, ranking T-7th in the category in SEC… Started all 13 games at defensive end, posting single-season career highs in virtually every stat category… Contributed career-high three tackles for loss, two QB sacks and forced fumble against Arkansas… Helped spark win over UConn with multi-sack effort… Also posted forced fumbles in victories over Elon and Wake Forest… Set career tackle high (5) at Alabama… Achieved solo tackle high (4) vs. UConn and Arkansas… Contributed four total tackles and shared a QB sack vs. Cincinnati in AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
2010
Developed into one of team[apos]s most consistent defensive performers as second-year starter… Earned 10 starts at DE, while seeing action in every game… Finished year with single-season career highs in tackles (22), tackles for loss (30), quarterback sacks (3) and forced fumbles (4)… Ranked among SEC and NCAA leaders in forced fumbles… Registered a tackle in every game… Top performance might have come in season opener vs. Northwestern: four tackles, 1.5 QB sacks and forced fumble… Came up with forced fumbles in three of the four games… Shared QB sack in loss at Arkansas and concluded season with sack vs. Wake Forest.
2009
Moved into a key role on the defensive line after two-year starter Steven Stone was lost for two months after suffering a foot fracture in preseason camp… Played in all 12 games, earning eight starting assignments at defensive end before Stone reclaimed his role against Georgia Tech… Finished year with 21 total tackles, including 11 unassisted stops… Also posted two tackles for loss, including a quarterback sack and a fumble recovery… Set career high in solo tackles (3) at Army… Season high in total tackles (4) came against Mississippi State and Army… Fumble recovery came against Mississippi State… Also posted three tackles against SEC foes LSU, South Carolina and Florida.
2008
Slowed by injury to start the season, Fugger developed into one of the squad[apos]s top defensive ends as the season endured… Played in nine games, finishing with 14 total tackles, including eight solo stops… Posted four solo tackles, a career high, against Duke… Also contributed three tackles in win over Kentucky and season finale at Wake Forest… Forced his first career fumble at Mississippi State… Also contributed an assisted tackle during increased action in Commodores[apos] Gaylord Hotels Music City Bowl victory over Boston College.
2007
Did not see action as a redshirt freshman, spending year adding bulk and strength through team[apos]s conditioning program… Opened as tight end in preseason, moved to defensive end just before opener.
High School
Two-way starter at tight end and defensive end as senior… Helped Broncos to 5-5 record and their 14th consecutive 5A playoff berth… Named All-Suburban Catholic Conference as tight end… Despite missing final three games, finished year with 14 catches for 267 yards and two touchdowns… As DE, contributed 61 tackles and four quarterback sacks… Avid weightlifter who holds school 225-pound bench press record with 17 repetitions… An all-around athlete, Fugger earned varsity letters in basketball and track & field at Montini in 2006… Captured conference 100-meter title and placed third in prestigious city 100 meters… Personal best in 100 is 10.8… Transferred to Montini from Bishop Kenny, a private school in Jacksonville, Fla.

Timothy Scott Fugger… Son of Karen Fugger and the late Peter Fugger… Born July 1, 1989 in San Diego… Transferred from Bishop Kenny after sophomore year when family moved to west Chicago suburbs… Has two other brothers: Brian and Mark… One of closest friends is former Commodore football player and Jacksonville resident Ryan van Rensburg… Enjoys playing the guitar… Enrolled in Peabody College, working toward a degree in Human and Organizational Development.
