Williamson started 10 games at strong safety, missing the Middle Tennessee and South Carolina games due to arm injury… Regarded among the leaders in Commodore secondary… Enjoyed 19 career starts in 49 appearances… Contributed 28 solo tackles, 41 total tackles, a forced fumble and four defensed passes as a senior… Registered at least three tackles in eight of 10 appearances…. Posted six total tackles against Western Kentucky, Houston and Florida… Tied career high with five solo tackles against Houston, Florida and Tennessee… Houston performance also included first career forced fumble.
2014
Williamson became one of the team’s top defensive performers as a first-year starter at safety… Played in all 12 games, earning starts in first nine encounters across from fellow safeties Jahmel McIntosh and Oren Burks… Concluded season four on defense with 32 solo tackles and fifth with 54 total tackles… Also contributed four tackles for loss, three defensed passes and a quarterback hurry… Posted at least four tackles in nine games… Registered seven stops, including two tackles for loss, vs. Florida… Season high in tackles (8) came at Kentucky… Also added six stops against South Carolina and Tennessee, and five tackles in the Temple and Mississippi State games… Posted two defensed passes in win over Old Dominion.
2013
Played in 12 of 13 regular season games, serving as the team’s top reserve at safety… Finished with 20 total tackles, including 11 unassisted stops, two interceptions and two fumble recoveries… Contributed interceptions in back-to-back, late-season wins over Florida and Kentucky… Added a fumble recovery in BBVA Compass Bowl victory over Houston… Opened season by registering at least three tackles against Ole Miss, South Carolina and UMass, then closed with a 3-tackle effort in win at Tennessee… Added six tackles along with interception vs. Kentucky… Returned interception at Florida 38 yards.. Contributed four tackles against UMass… Recovered a fumble and made three tackles at South Carolina… Recorded two tackles, including one for loss, in win vs. Austin Peay.
2012
Appeared in all 13 games as a backup safety, while also being a key contributor on special teams… Registered 20 total tackles and blocked a kick.
2011
Travelled with the squad for much of the year, but the true freshman did not see action… Impressed coaches and teammates with his abilities as a practice squad safety.
High School
Senior captain… Started two years in defensive secondary for Falcons squad that went 11-5 and advanced to the 5A-D1 state semifinals… Amassed 168 total tackles, an INT and four forced fumbles as senior… Honorable mention All-State and first team All-District as senior… Also named to San Antonio Express News All-City team… Stellar student and National Honor Society member.
