Played in 11 of 12 games, missing the season finale with an injury… Started 10 games as wide receiver in three-wideout sets… Versatile player who joined WR Alex Washington as the only Commodores to post a rushing attempt, pass reception, punt return and kickoff return… Ranked third on the team behind Earl Bennett and George Smith with 20 receptions… With 270 receiving yards, posted the highest yards-per-catch average (13.5) of all receivers… Three touchdown catches tied for second on team with George Smith… Had at least one catch in 10 of 11 games… Matched single-game high in receptions (4) versus Eastern Michigan and Florida… Named team[apos]s Offensive Player of the Week after 4-reception, 60-yard performance in win over Eastern Michigan… 17-yard TD catch from QB Chris Nickson gave [apos]Dores 20-0 third quarter cushion over EMU… Played well against home-state Georgia for second consecutive year, scoring two Commodore touchdowns in eventual last-second loss; took reverse 15 yards for first TD before catching 16-yard pass from Mackenzi Adams to give Vanderbilt 17-7 lead at halftime… Lone catch vs. Kentucky, a 14-yard TD reception from Mackenzi Adams, was team[apos]s first score against Wildcats… Ran four reverses for 19 yards during season… Lone kickoff return of 21 yards came at Tennessee.

Showed great strides from redshirt freshman campaign, concluding the year as one of Chris Nickson[apos]s favorite aerial targets… Started five games as receiver in multiple wideout formations… Ended season as team[apos]s fifth leading receiver with 16 catches, good for 204 yards and a pair of touchdowns… Had at least one catch in 10 games… First career start came versus Arkansas… Break-through performance came at Ole Miss with an 18-yard touchdown catch… Named team[apos]s co-Offensive Player of the Week for effort in win over Georgia… Had two key receptions against Bulldogs, a 35-yarder for touchdown and a six-yard catch that provided crucial first down in Commodores[apos] game-winning possession… Gained 49 yards on three rushes, including a 35-yard reverse for a touchdown at Kentucky… Named squad[apos]s Specialist of the Week for kickoff return effort versus Tennessee.
2005
Recovering from offseason knee ailment, Walker saw action as special teams contributor and reserve wide receiver… Played in seven games during the season… Did not record a reception.

Three-year starter at wide receiver… Team captain… Named honorable mention All-State and All-CSRA Conference by Augusta Chronicle… Two-time All-Area selection… As senior, caught 26 catches for 602 yards and six touchdowns… Also added a pair of interceptions as defensive back… Served as team[apos]s placekicker, hitting four of five field goal attempts, including a 42-yard game winner… Team advanced to first round of state playoffs during junior and senior seasons… As junior, caught 28 catches with 471 yards and three touchdowns… Totalled 68 catches, 1,520 receiving yards and 13 touchdowns during three-year varsity career… Also competed for track & field and golf… Captured regional triple jump championship and was member of region-winning 400-meter relay squad.
