Experienced the first collegiate action of career, starting season opener at Wake Forest as kickoff specialist… Except for an appearance versus Richmond, did not play until final game of season at Tennessee… As a late-game replacement, played key role in victory over Volunteers, putting his kickoff through the end zone after Commodores[apos] go-ahead touchdown.
