Football

1994-1997

Jamie Duncan was a high school football star in Wilmington, Del., recruited by powerful programs such as Penn State. It was his family’s focus upon education, however, that attracted him to Vanderbilt, where he became an impact player almost immediately. While he was a central figure in Vanderbilt’s outstanding defensive units, his academic journey was not always as smooth but he kept his promise to his mother to earn a Vanderbilt degree. After his NFL retirement, Jamie has been involved with a variety of businesses and right now he partners with former Commodore Ronnie Gordon in an enterprise that brings quality dental care to low income populations around the United States.
