As a Freshman (2022):
• Capped freshman season completing 58.1-percent of passes for 1,274 yards and 10 touchdowns to just two interceptions
• Threw 159 pass attempts before throwing his first interception, the longest such stretch by a Vanderbilt quarterback to open a career since at least 1996 and the longest by an SEC quarterback to open a career (at an FBS school) since 2002
• 1,274 passing yards as a freshman are the fourth-most in Vanderbilt history, trailing only the rookie seasons of Ken Seals, John Gromos and Jay Cutler
• Fewest interceptions of any FBS true freshman with at least 200 drop backs on the season, with five fewer than the next closest quarterback
• Started the season-finale against No. 6 Tennessee, completing 11-of-17 passes, after missing previous two games due to injury
• Was 10-for-18 for 127 yards and two touchdowns against South Carolina before suffering an injury
• Passed for 281 yards and two touchdowns against Ole Miss
• Recorded 255 passing yards and four touchdowns in collegiate start debut at Northern Illinois
• Named SEC Freshman of the Week for his performance against the Huskies in first start
• Was the second true freshman in the SEC to throw for at least four touchdowns in his first career start since 2002
• His passing yards at Northern Illinois were the most by a true freshman at Vanderbilt since 2000
• Became the third Vandy signal-caller of any age to throw for at least 250 yards and four touchdowns in a road game since 1996, joining Jay Cutler and Kyle Shurmur
• Came off the bench and threw for two touchdowns and 146 yards against Wake Forest
• Made collegiate debut in relief at Hawai’i, completing three passes for 51 yards
