Southers contributed in six games as a versatile offensive lineman… Participated as offensive tackle against Nevada, Tennessee State, Arkansas, Ole Miss and Tennessee… Served as a blocking tight end at Missouri… Also contributed on field goal and extra point conversion units.

2017
Southers played in 11 games, participating as an offensive guard and on special team conversion units… Opened the season as starter at right guard against Middle Tennessee, Alabama A&M, Kansas State and Alabama… Registered five domination blocks during the season.

2016
Southers participated in final 10 games of the year as a redshirt freshman offensive lineman… Saw action as an offensive tackle and on special team conversion units.

2015
Southers did not play as a true freshman, working instead as a offensive tackle and guard on scout teams.

HIGH SCHOOL
Two-year starter on offensive line for New Jersey private school power… As senior OT, registered 83 pancake blocks for 6-4 Seton Hall Prep squad… Also saw action on defensive line as senior… Named Second Team All-State and First Team All-Private School recipient after senior season… Earned three varsity letters for Seton Hall Prep… Also earned letter in wrestling… National Honor Society member.
