Kimbrow played in 12 games, rotating among a 3-player RB corps that included Jerron Seymour and Wesley Tate… Finished the year with 341 rushing yards and three TDs on 81 carries… Also caught five passes for 19 yards… Concluded the season with arguably his finest game – rushing for 75 yards, including a 21-yard score, on 13 carries to aid team[apos]s 41-24 victory over Houston in the BBVA Compass Bowl… Also had 37 and 41 rushing yards in early-season games vs. Ole Miss and Austin Peay, respectively… Ended the season with one of his best performances – 45 yards on 13 carries… Registered rushing TDs in wins over Austin Peay and Kentucky.

Kimbrow has made an immediate impact as a true freshman for Vanderbilt during the 2012 season… One of four true freshmen to contribute during the season… Ranks second on the team with 413 yards rushing on just 66 carries… Third on the team with three rushing TDs, with a long rush of 74 yards… Recorded his first career 100-yard rushing day versus Presbyterian when he carried the ball 14 times for 137 yards and a TD… Registered 98 yards on the ground on only seven touches and a score vs. UMass… Posted 52 yard kickoff return in Franklin American Mortgage Music City Bowl win over N.C. State.

Senior captain… Three-year starting RB for Memphis public school… As senior, rushed for 1,969 yards and 21 TDs on 187 carries (10.5 avg.) and produced 2,186 all-purpose yards for 7-4 Mustang squad that advanced to 5A state playoffs… Finalist for state[apos]s 5A Mr. Football Back of the Year Award and First Team All-State selection… Included on numerous postseason teams, including Commercial Appeal[apos]s Best of the Preps and Tennessean[apos]s Dream Team… Participated in postseason U.S. Army All-American Game in San Antonio… As junior, rushed for 1,651 yards and 18 TDs and scored two TDs on kickoff returns… Rushed for 973 yards and 10 TDs as sophomore.
