Head coach Tim Corbin on Hampton: “Will redshirted his freshman year and made excellent use of that time by getting stronger in the weight room and continuing to develop as a hitter. He carried that progress into the summer, taking full advantage of his opportunity with Martha’s Vineyard in the NECBL, where he earned All-Star recognition and established himself as one of the league’s better hitters. Will plays the game the right way and competes with one speed—full go. He is a tough, dependable player who can handle both corner outfield positions and has a strong feel for baserunning and game flow. Offensively, Will understands the strike zone, uses the entire field, and began driving the baseball with more authority this fall. He continues to trend upward and is positioned to make a meaningful impact in our program.”
