Head coach Tim Corbin on Polk: “When kids start moving to Dean’s List status academically, you can start taking them seriously as players…that’s where Matt is. He had a very productive fall academically and that carried over to the field in a very big way. Polky is a dynamic and aggressive player. He plays at one speed; he attacks the game. His maturity has shown up in his offensive approach and his overall approach to the game. Polky has defensive versatility that will give him an opportunity to get on the field in the infield or outfield.”
