Head coach Tim Corbin on Rogers: Elite strength and speed athlete. He has already put himself in the Omaha Challenge record books by winning the event 3 consecutive years. He’s an animal in the weight room…he just loves it. He started to gain traction last year with his skill until he was knocked out of summer play by injury. I like his ability to go get the baseball in the outfield…he can cover a lot of ground. He certainly has made training progress offensively, now it’s a matter of bringing those skills to the field during competition. I would always bet on him.
