His baserunning skills and instincts are some of the best that I have coached. His knack for timing, jumps, feel for the game and ball flight reads are exceptional. He also carries those instincts to the defensive side…he is a sure handed ball hawk who covers a great deal of space in the outfield. His plate skills have improved and will impact our team. Cal is a caring kid who loves his teammates and would do anything for them.“
