High School: Lettered four years in baseball at Beech High School in Hendersonville, TN… Team won 2009 District title and was 2008 Region champ… 2008-10 All-District and All-District Tournament Team… 2008-09 Second Team All-Midstate and Sumner County Player of the Year… 2010 All-Midstate Player of the Year, District 9-AAA MVP, Team MVP, First Team All-State… Played summer ball for the Bayside Yankees… Drafted in the 45th round of the 2010 MLB Draft by St. Louis.
