He is a tremendous student and consistently handles his academic responsibilities at a high level. Nate is another young man who drew significant interest from MLB evaluators, which speaks to the quality of his ability and overall makeup. I have really liked how his confidence grew over the course of the fall, as it showed up in both his preparation and performance. On the mound, Nate has a good arm, features a very good breaking ball, and consistently throws strikes. He is a smart, low-maintenance young man who understands how to go about his work the right way. Nate is a pleasure to coach and continues to move in the right direction.”

 

As a Freshman (2026)
• Totaled 23.2 innings over 17 appearances
• Owned a 1.52 ERA with a 3-1 record
• Recorded 26 strikeouts and held opposing hitters to a .136 average
• In SEC games, worked 12.1 innings with a 1-1 record, 1.46 ERA and held opposing hitters to a .132 average
• Didn't allow an earned run over first 11 appearances
• Threw a season-high 3.0 innings vs. #21 Tennessee (March 28), giving up no runs on one hit
• Earned first win vs. #13 LSU (March 13)
• Made collegiate debut vs. Eastern Michigan (Feb. 18), tossing a scoreless frame with two strikeouts
