He was a well-rounded athlete in high school and you can certainly see those traits start to take shape on the baseball field. He has a hitterâ?^TMs mentality and showed several times during the fall what he could become with more repetition and swings.

2015 – Singled as a pinch hitter vs. Tennessee Tech 3/17… Hit by a pitch and struck out vs. Illinois State 3/1… Picked up his first collegiate hit with a single through the right side vs. Illinois State 2/27… Made his collegiate debut as a pinch hitter against Santa Clara 2/14 striking out in game one of doubleheader.

High School – Lettered three years in baseball and football at Huntington HS… His 2012 team was sectional champs… Named an all-state and all-conference performer in all three seasons… Captained the baseball team for three years… Played summer ball or high school with Elijah Wellman (West Virginia football) and Seth Kinker (Ohio State).
