Head coach Tim Corbin on McElvain: “Chris is a multi-talented young man who can do many things on the field. His biggest challenge was to move into a position group where he could focus his energy, and he did this on the mound. Chris has a good arm with a good assortment of pitches, but he competes very well. He has presence and maturity on the mound.”
