Head coach Tim Corbin on Sears: “Cade enters his sophomore year after joining our program late in the recruiting process and has quickly shown why his game fits what we value. He comes from a baseball family and brings a football background, having begun his college career as a wide receiver. That athleticism shows up in his game-changing speed, which adds a dynamic element to our roster. Cade can play all three outfield positions and continues to develop offensively. He made significant improvements this summer in the Northwoods League, and that progress carried into the fall. His bat speed, barrel control, and short game have all improved. Cade brings a steady, consistent personality, is well liked by his teammates, and made a seamless transition into the classroom, earning Dean’s List honors.”
