NORMAN, Okla. – The Vanderbilt men’s golf team was recognized with a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award from the Golf Coaches Association of America (GCAA) on Wednesday, as the Commodores earned All-Academic Team honors for the 2025-26 season.

To be selected for the GCAA All-Academic Team, programs must hold a team grade point average of 3.0 or higher. A GCAA-record 331 schools across six collegiate divisions earned a PLATFORM Golf Team Academic Award this season.

It is the latest academic honor for the Commodores this summer. Earlier this week, Vanderbilt had three student-athletes selected as Colbalt Golf All-America Scholars by the GCAA. In July, senior Wells Williams was named to the College Sports Communicators Academic All-America Third Team.

The Commodores welcome back seven golfers from last season’s squad who qualified for match play at the 2026 NCAA Men’s Golf Championship. Vandy also welcomes in the nation’s top freshman class for the second-straight season, as the Dores begin their 15th season under the direction of Scott Limbaugh, the Thomas F. Roush, M.D., and Family Vanderbilt Men's Golf Head Coach
