NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt football announced a drone show will take place at halftime of the season opener against Austin Peay. Kickoff is at 6 p.m., and the first 3,000 fans will receive a limited-edition bobblehead of E. Bronson Ingram Chair in Football Clark Lea.
In addition to the 3,000 handed out to early-arriving fans, a limited number of bobbleheads are included in a ticket package for $40, plus taxes and fees. To purchase, click here.
Prior to kickoff, fans can enjoy a reimagined Vandyville, including a pregame concert held at Commodore Court, in the Police Lot, the Max Nance Kids’ Zone in the parking lot of Blakemore House, new and enhanced sponsorship activations, and concessions available for food and beverage purchases.
Vandyville will open at 3 p.m. with music beginning at approximately 4 p.m. and will conclude about 5 p.m. when fans are encouraged to enter the stadium. The headliner will be announced early next week. Tailgating tents will continue to be set up along Natchez Trace.
In celebration of Salute to Service, fans are invited to a special pregame ceremony featuring an oath of enlistment for the U.S. Army.
New food and drink options are also coming to FirstBank Stadium, along with renovated concession stands along the concourse. The nacho stands will offer chicken and pork tacos; two new frozen beverage stations will be available, with both non-alcoholic and alcoholic options; the Black & Gold stand will now serve a local wagyu burger in addition to its other offerings.
