NCAA Field Revealed

Dores welcome Indiana State, McNeese and Ohio State

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt has been tabbed the No. 2 overall seed in the NCAA Division I Tournament and will welcome Indiana State, McNeese and Ohio State to Hawkins Field for the NCAA Nashville Regional, the selection committee announced Monday morning.

The Commodores (49-10) are hosting the for the seventh time in program history and will have the opportunity to host the super regional round should they advance. The NCAA Nashville Regional is paired with the Morgantown Regional, hosted by West Virginia.

Vanderbilt leads the nation with 49 victories and captured the SEC regular season championship and SEC Tournament title. The Dores are making their SEC-best 14th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance and hosting a regional for the fifth time in the last seven seasons.

Each regional field features four teams, playing in a double-elimination format. All 16 regionals are scheduled to be conducted from Friday, May 1 to Monday, June 3 (if necessary).
