NASHVILLE, Tenn. — The Vanderbilt baseball team is gearing up for a pair of fall exhibitions against Samford and Arizona State in October.
Vanderbilt’s first game of the fall will take place Oct. 23 at Hawkins Field with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. The matchup between the Commodores and Bulldogs will be open to the public and admission is free.
The Commodores’ exhibition against Arizona State will be in Las Vegas at the College of Southern Nevada on Oct. 30 with first pitch scheduled for 1 p.m. CT. The neutral-site contest will also be open to the public, with ticketed entry. Tickets can be purchased here.
Vanderbilt begins its “Road to Omaha” on Oct. 18 when the Commodores officially open fall training.
Full-squad training sessions will take place during the week and will be open to the public.
Entry to Hawkins Field will be through the visitor bullpen gate off of Jess Neely Drive. The gate will be open each day at approximately 4 p.m. This is subject to change at the discretion of baseball staff and university personnel.

The team will conclude the fall with the annual Black and Gold Game, which is tentatively scheduled for Nov. 13.
The Dores posted a 39-26 record in 2022, highlighted by the program’s 16th consecutive NCAA Tournament appearance. They welcome 13 newcomers this season, while returning consensus All-American Enrique Bradfield Jr. and a pair of Freshman All-America pitchers—Carter Holton and Devin Futrell.
