Denk Set to Compete at NCAA Indoors

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt’s Kristen Denk is set to compete in the NCAA Indoor Track and Field Championships on Saturday at Alabama’s Birmingham CrossPlex.
 
The pole vaulter is set to compete at 4 p.m. CT.
 
Denk qualified for the meet by covering a personal-best 14-2.75 (4.34 meters) at the SEC Indoor Championships to earn All-SEC second team honors. 
 
This is the North Royalton, Ohio, native’s first time competing at the NCAA Indoor Championships. Denk could become just the second Commodore pole vaulter ever to earn All-America honors.
