NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Kristen Denk was named to the All-SEC second team after placing third at the SEC Indoor Championships.
Her third-place mark of 14-2.75 broke her own school record set earlier this season, and ranks 12th in the NCAA.
“Another great honor for Kristen,” head coach Steven Keith stated. “She continues to represent herself and our program at a high level. The next step for her will be NCAA Indoors next week!”
Denk is the first Vanderbilt pole vaulter to earn All-SEC honors. The North Royalton, Ohio, native has competed six times this season and finished third or better in each, winning twice.
