Vanderbilt opened the series with a 15-0 victory in Friday’s matchup, notching its second shutout victory of the young campaign. The Commodores tallied a season-high 16 hits while eight of nine starters registered at least one hit.

Vanderbilt clinched the series with a 5-2 win over UIC on Saturday using timely hitting and stellar pitching. Rocker picked up his third win of the season with a season-high 11 strikeouts while surrendering one run on one hit.

The Commodores returned to the diamond Sunday to claim a 4-2 victory over the Flames as starter Jack Leiter tossed five innings and racked up 11 punchouts on the afternoon.
