Head coach Tim Corbin on Young: “It wasn’t a surprise that Carter inserted himself very quickly into our program. His defensive skills are advanced for a young player and very impactful at the shortstop position. He has continued to grow as an offensive player with strength and skill development. Carter has a very even disposition for the game that plays very well for him and our team. I am most excited about his growth and maturity academically over the last semester.”
