NASHVILLE, Tenn. (AP) — Jessica Mooney scored 16 points, fellow reserve Chanel Chisholm added 13 and No. 16 Vanderbilt cruised to a 78-41 victory over winless Radford on Tuesday night.

Mooney shot 6-of-10 from the field in 20 minutes off the bench, and Chisholm was 5-for-6 in 13 minutes. Mooney also had four assists and two steals.

“She’s playing very confident, and is building on that confidence every night,” Melanie Balcomb, VU head coach, said of Chisholm. “She works hard every day in practice and leads by example.

“I really like her body language and how she’s carrying herself right now. Good things are happening for her, and for the team when she’s in.”

Hannah Tuomi was the only Commodores starter in double figures. She had 10 points and six rebounds.

Vanderbilt (7-1) held Radford scoreless for the first 3:33 and led 23-6 following Mooney’s layup with 8:45 left in the first half.

Radford (0-6) committed 29 turnovers and made only 13 baskets. Vandy Pullen led the Highlanders with 14 points.
