Vanderbilt Baseball Closes Fall Practice with Black and Gold Series 10/10/2005 Nashville, Tenn. – Vanderbilt will close out its fall baseball practice this weekend with the three-game Black and Gold Series at Hawkins Field. The roster will be split into two squads tomorrow night and will begin play on Friday at 6 p.m. They will play again on Saturday at 11 a.m. before closing out the practice slate on Sunday at 1 p.m. The Commodores opened practice on Sept. 20 and have spent the fall season melding 17 newcomers into the program. The recruiting class was ranked No. 4 by Collegiate Baseball earlier this month. Black and Gold Series
