NASHVILLE, Tenn. — Coming off a series of competitive training sessions and scrimmages last week at Hawkins Field, Vanderbilt’s baseball team continues preseason training Tuesday.

Vanderbilt opens the 2024 campaign on Feb. 16-18 with a three-game home series against Florida Atlantic.

The Commodores, who come in at No. 6 in the D1Baseball Preseason Poll, will scrimmage Tuesday at approximately 4 p.m. with training scheduled to begin at 2:30 p.m. The team will also train Wednesday and Thursday at approximately 3 p.m. The remainder of the week’s training sessions will be closed to the public.

Fans wishing to attend training Tuesday through Thursday can access the outfield seating at Hawkins Field via the right field gate near the intersection of Jess Neely Drive and 25th Avenue and the center field ramp off of 25th Avenue.
