Jamar Ritch
Assistant Director • Fan Engagement and Hospitality
Jamar Ritch returned to Vanderbilt Athletics in 2023 as assistant director of fan engagement and hospitality.
He originally joined the Vanderbilt staff in 2018 as a guest services team member. After one year, Ritch left to continue working in recruiting as a consultant for IMG Academy where he met with students across the region in preparation from high school to college athletics.
Ritch was a recruiting assistant at Tennessee State from 2014-16 before earning a promotion to director of football operations. He served as a defensive line coach in 2013 at Morningside High School in Inglewood, California, where he got his start in 2009 and also spent the 2011 season as the director of football operations, recruiting coordinator, and defensive line coach at Whittier (Calif.) College. In 2010, Ritch was a player personnel assistant for the Arizona Rattlers of the Arena Football League. During his time, he was a part of the AFL West Conference and AFL National Conference championships and an appearance in the 2010 AFL Arena Bowl Championship game.
Ritch earned his bachelor’s degree in graphic design with a minor in sports marketing and advertising from Fresno State in 2009. In 2013, he received his master of business administration degree from the University of Phoenix. He was a member of the Fresno State football team from 2004-09, and during his time at Fresno State he helped as a marketing assistant for football.
