The Bishop File
Haley Bishop prepped at South Pointe during her freshman year and at Nations Ford for the next three years and was a letterwinner all four years. Under Nations Ford head coach Jake Brenner, she recorded prep bests of 11.74 in the 100 meters and 24.33 in the 200 meters. She was a Semper Fidelis All-American in 2019 and was named all-state and all-region in 2018 and 2019. In 2018, she was a state champion as a member of the 4×100-meter relay and the Bojangles 100-meter champion. She was a two-time runner-up in the 100 meters at the state championships (2017, 2018) and two-time member of The Herald all-area track and field team. At Nations Ford, she is a four-time school record holder and is a three-time record holder at South Pointe.
Personal
Haley is the daughter of Heather and Quinest Bishop Sr., and has three siblings, Quinest Jr., who runs track at Troy, Davis and Titan. While in high school, Bishop founded the Non-Profit Community Project: We Set the Pace, an organization that donates track spikes to middle school students.
