2018 Indoor Season: SEC Indoor Championships: Bell finished 10th at the conference meet with a clearance of 12’9.50″ (3.90 meters)… Music City Challenge: Registered highest clearance of season with 13’3″ (4.04m) mark to earn sixth-place individual finish…  Power 5 Invitational: Cleared 4.02 meters (13’2.25″) to take home fifth place finish…  Vanderbilt Invitational: Team’s indoor and outdoor record holder posted early-season best vault of 12’2.25″ (3.72m).

2017 Outdoor Season:  NCAA Championships:  Cleared the bar at 13’7.25″ (4.15m) and tied for eighth place overall, honoring NCAA First Team All-American recognition… NCAA Regionals:  Was one of just eight athletes to clear 13’9.25″ (4.20m) on her way to qualification to the NCAA Championships…SEC Championships:  Earned 3.5 team points for Vanderbilt with a T-5th finish in the pole vault with a top mark of 13’2.25″ (4.02m) on the day… SEC Relays:  Placed fourth and cleared height of 13’4.25″… Virginia Challenge:  Established new Vanderbilt all-time record and took home the pole vault title with clearance of 14’0.50″ (4.28m).

2017 Indoor Season: NCAA Championships:  Placed 12th overall and earned Second Team All-American honors with a vault of 13’3.50″ (4.05m)… SEC Championships:  Set an all-time Vanderbilt pole vault record with a vault of 13’11.25″ (4.25m), which placed sixth at the meet and earned Vanderbilt three team points… Music City Challenge:  Finished second overall after clearing 13’9″ (4.19m)… Meyo Invitational:  Cleared 13’7.25″ (4.15m) and earned fourth place… Vanderbilt Opener:  Finished fifth place in the pole vualt by clearing 13’1.50″ (4.00m).

2016 Outdoor Season:  NCAA Prelims:  Set a personal best and then-school record with clearance of 13’9.25″ (4.20m). … SEC Championships:  Ended tied for 12th in pole vault with a height of 13’1.25″ (4.00m)… Virginia Challenge:  Finished sixth in the women’s pole vault invitational by clearing 13’5.25″ (4.10m)… Auburn Invitational:  Finished fourth in the pole vault by clearing 13’1.25″… Florida Relays:  Finished tied for 17th clearing 12’3.50″ (3.75m)… Black and Gold Invitational:  Took second in the pole vault by clearing 13’3.50″ (4.05m).Â

2016 Indoor Season: Music City Invitational: Broke own school record by clearing 13’9.25″ (4.20m)… Armory Collegiate Invitational: Finished fourth in the pole vault at 13’5.25″ (4.10m)… Vanderbilt Invitational: Broke her own school record in the pole vault with a mark of 13’8.50″ (4.18m), surpassing her previous best of 13’6.25″… Conference Clash: Took fourth in the pole vault at 13’3.75″ (4.06m)… Commodore Invitational: Finished second in the pole vault by clearing 13’9.25″… Indoor Opener: Took third in the pole vault by clearing 12’9.50″ (3.90m).

2015 Outdoor Season: NCAA East Regional: Finished tied for 17th in the pole vault, clearing 13’4.50″… SEC Championships Earned one-third of a point for the Commodores by finishing tied for eighth in the pole vault at 13’1.75″ (4.01m)… Tennessee Challenge Shattered her own school record in the pole vault and took fourth overall by clearing 13’8.25″ (4.17m), which easily surpassed her previous record of 13’3.50″… Virginia Challenge: Was third in the Pole Vault Invite at 13’1.50″ (4.00m)… Hurricane Alumni Invitational: Finished fourth in the pole vault at 12’11.50″… Tiger Track Classic: Earned a share of fourth place in the pole vault by clearing 12’1.50″… Alabama Relays: Took ninth place in the pole vault at 12’8.25″ (3.85m) in her first action since returning from an ankle injury that caused her to miss most of the indoor season.

2014 Outdoor Season: Was named to the SEC’s All-Freshmen Team in the pole vault… Set a new school record in the pole vault at the SEC Championships, then broke her own mark at the NCAA East Preliminary by clearing 13’3.5″ and finished in a tie for 20th place overall… Set a new VU record in the pole vault by clearing 13’1.50″ at the SEC Championships to finish in a tie for fifth place and score 3.5 points for the Commodores… Finished second in the pole vault (3.95m) at the Tennessee Challenge… Took sixth in the pole vault by clearing 3.80m at the Sea Ray Relays… Earned second place in the pole vault at 3.70m at the Black & Gold meet… Took fourth place in the pole vault at the Alabama Relays… Cleared 12’3.50″ at the Florida Relays.

2014 Indoor Season: Set a new school indoor record in the pole vault near the tail end of the regular season, then beat her own mark by clearing 13’6.25″ at the SEC Championships… Set a new school indoor record in the pole vault by clearing 13’1.50″ at the New Balance Armory Collegiate Invitational… Finished sixth in the pole vault at 3.85m at the Auburn Indoor Invitational… Finished fifth in the pole vault by clearing 3.95m at the UAB Blazer Invitational… Captured first place by clearing 12’9.5″ in her collegiate debut at the Music City Challenge.

High School: A six-time All-American at Central Catholic High School with a personal-best of 13’3.5″… Four-time Illinois indoor state champion and all time record holder (13’3″) in the pole vault… three-time Illinois outdoor state champion and class 2A record holder… 2013 USA youth outdoor pole vault champion, 2013 State Farm Insurance Female Athlete of the Year… 2013 IHSA All-State Academic team… 2013 Pantagraph Female Athlete of the Year… 2012 USATF national junior Olympic champion… 2010 AAU national junior Olympic champion… Holds school records in 55M, 60M, 200M, pole vault, 4x100M relay and 4x200M relay… Top-ranked pole vaulter in 2012 indoors with a vault of 13’0.25″… Lettered four years in golf and track, serving two years as track team captain.

Personal: Daughter of Michael and Mary Jo Bell… Has three siblings: Tabitha, Adam and Samantha… Sarah played golf in high school as well as participating in track and field… She was also on the all-state academic team.
