2016-17 Indoor Season: SEC Championships: Ran a time of 57.26 meters in the 400-meter dash, finishing 39th…Music City Challenge:  Ran the eighth-fastest 400m time in Vanderbilt history with a time of 55.92…Meyo Invitational: Finished the 400m dash with a time of 56.64, which placed 35th overall…Vanderbilt Invitational: Earned 17th place in the 800m run with a time of 2:16.98…Commodore Invitational:  Ran a season-best time in the 800m run with a time of 2:14.39…Vanderbilt Indoor Opener:  Was a part of the 4×4 relay team that placed second with a time of 3:45.79.

2016 Outdoor Season:  Jace LaCoste Inivtational:  Captured first place in the 400m hurdles with a season best time of 59.33. … Virginia Challenge:  Took 11th in the 400m hurdles with a time of 59.95 and helped the 4x400m relay team to a 10th place finish with a time of 3:44.52. … Auburn Invitational:  Finished third as a part of the 4x400m relay team with a time of 3:40.68 ranking No.8 on VU’s all-time list. … Florida Relays:  Part of the 4x400m relay team that finished sixth with a season best time in prelims at 3:39.84 ranking No. 7 on VU’s all-time list; Took sixth as part of the 1600 Sprint Medley team with a time of 3:55.62. … Black and Gold:  Took second in the 400 with a PR time of 55.15 ranking No. 5 on VU’s all-time list; Took third as part of the 4×400 Relay team with a time of 3:48.61.

High School (Westview): Won state championships as a senior in the 100 meter hurdles, 300 meter hurdles and long jump … Ranked 17th nationally in the 300 meter hurdles.

Personal: Daughter of Jeff and Brenda Carpenter. Sister to Huntington (28) and Buchanan (18). Skyler played soccer and basketball in high school as well.
