Stephanie Douglas Season 2006-07

2006: After missing previous year, Douglas focused on 400-and 800-meter distances outdoors… Personal best in the 800 of 2:22.80 came at Vanderbilt Invitational… Also ran a 4×400-meter relay leg of 59.9 at the home meet.

2005: Did not participate… Volunteered at a hospital in Tanzania.

2004: Competed on limited basis prior to injuries ending campaign.

High School: Team[apos]s MVP as sophomore… Placed second in 400 at regionals… Also lettered in soccer… Earned perfect ACT score… Best Speaker Award recipient at Kentucky Youth Assembly.

Academics: Douglas is working toward a degree in political science from the College of Arts and Sciences.

Personal: Stephanie Raye Douglas… Daughter of Donald and Carol Douglas… Born Nov. 12, 1985… Both parents ran at Western Kentucky; dad was Olympic Trial qualifier and All-American in 400-meter hurdles… One of three children.
