As a Junior (2025-26)
• Achieved the CSCAA NIC B standard in the 400 IM
• Had the second-best mark on the team in the 400 IM, and was also among the top five in the 100 breast and 200 IM
• Recorded career-low time in the 400 IM and touched the wall in 1:04.74 in the 100 breast—her fastest mark of the season—at the SEC Championships (Feb. 17-21)
• Competed in the E Final of the 200 breast (2:22.02) and 400 IM (4:27.27), missing finals in the 200 IM (2:06.65) by only 0.2 seconds, at the Phill Hansel Invitational (Nov. 19-21)
• Also was within a half second of advancing to finals in the 100 breast (1:06.12) at the meet, recording then season-low times in all four events

• Ended up among the top five on the team in four different events, the 400 IM (third), 100 breast (fourth), 200 breast (fifth) and 200 IM (fifth)
• Recorded career-low marks in the 100 and 200 breast along with the 200 IM at the SEC Championships (Feb. 18-22)
• Qualified for the B Final of the 100 breast (1:06.36), made the 200 free C Final with a career-best time and also swam the 200 IM (2:08.75) at the Tennessee Last Chance Invitational (Feb. 28-March 1)
• Made her season debut at the Gamecock Invitational (Nov. 20-22), qualifying for the C Final in both the 100 breast (1:05.80) and 400 IM (4:30.90) while also advancing to the D Final of the 200 breast (2:23.34) and 200 IM (2:06.23)
• Posted a career-low mark at the time in the 100 breast (1:05.06) as well as a season-best mark in the 400 IM (4:27.31) in regular-season finale against Southern Illinois (Feb. 1)

As a Freshman (2023-24)
• Best time in the 400 IM tied for the second-fastest mark on the team in the event and met the CSCAA National Invitational Championship B Standard
• Was also fourth in both the 100 and 200 breast
• Recorded season-low mark in the 200 breast, competed in the 100 breast (1:05.99) and 400 IM (4:34.11)—turning in her best time of the season in the 100 fly in the opening leg of the race—as well, at the SEC Championships (Feb. 20-24)
• Advanced to the A Final in the 400 IM, the B Final of the 200 breast (2:21.55), and C Final of the 100 breast (1:05.22) and 200 IM while recording season-best marks at the time in three events at the Gamecock Invitational (Nov. 15-17)
• Finished third in the 100 breast (1:05.10) and was fourth in the 50 breast (29.85)—posting season-low marks in each race—in Vandy’s wins over Little Rock and North Texas (Jan. 27)
• Ended up among the top five in the 100 breast (1:06.35) and 200 IM (2:09.75) to help the Dores defeat Iowa (Oct. 28)
• Placed in the top five in both the 100 breast (1:05.89) and 400 IM (4:29.92) at Illinois (Nov. 4)
• Came in fourth place in both the 100 breast (1:07.62) and 200 IM (2:11.65) in victory over Tulane (Feb. 2)

• Set Seattle Prep records in the 100 breast and 200 IM, was also part of record-setting 200 and 400 free and 200 medley relays
• Placed fourth in the 100 breast and 200 IM at the state meet her senior season
• Was a metro champion for the Panthers
• Served as a team captain as a senior
• Holds club record in the 400 IM, and contributed to records in the 200 and 400 medley relays
• Helped Seattle Metropolitan win the Pacific Northwest Championships in 2021 and ’22
• Also contributed to team claiming two sectional titles
• A member of the National Honor Society
• Daughter of Shannon and Jim Gooding
• Is the middle of three children
• Mother, Shannon, was a member of the rowing team at California and competed in the 1992 Olympic Games
• Father, Jim, swam at California as well
• Grandfather, Charles Day, won a gold medal in rowing at the 1936 Olympic Games
