2017-18 (Junior):
Set two personal best times in 2017… In the meet against Marshal Chon swam a personal best time of 28.20 in the 50 Y back… In the meet against Kentucky Chon was able to beat her previous best time with a time of 1:02.29 in the 100 Y IM… In 2018, Chon achieved her best time of 32.42 in the 50 Y breast in the meet against UALR and Ouachita Baptist… Broke two personal records at the SEC Championships with a time of 53.60 in the 100 Y free and a time of 58.58 in the 100 Y back.
2016-17 (Sophomore):
Swam in all regular season meets for the Dores during her second year on campus… Season-best times in the 100-yard backstroke (1:00.20), 100-yard freestyle (54.29), 200-yard backstroke (2:11.23), and 200-yard IM (2:11.74) all came during the prelims of the Phill Hansel Invite in Houston… Placed fourth in the 200-yard breaststroke with a season best time of 2:33.25 against Campbell… Finished fourth in the 200-yard IM against Alabama and West Florida with a time of 2:14.37.
2015-16 (Freshman):
Season best times in the 100 freestyle (53.94), 200 IM (2:11.12) and 100 backstroke (59.76) came in the prelims at the SEC Championships… One of four freshman to compete at the SECs… Four podium finishes in her first season with the Commodores… 2nd place finish in the 50 freestyle (25.50), 3rd place finish in the 100 IM, and the 100 freestyle relay (47.69) against UALR… Earned a 3rd place finish in the 200 IM (2:15.09) against Missouri.
Eun Sol Chon comes to Vanderbilt as the 3rd ranked swimmer in the state of Arkansas… Chon competed with the Razorback Aquatic Club in Fayetteville, Ark… Swam for Brentonville High, earning a first place finish in the 200 IM at 13-14 at the Arkansas State Championships … Swam to a second place finish in the 100 back.
