Defense
2007: Frew is one of three captains for the 2007 season.
2006: Started all 49 games of her VU career… As a junior, she anchored the Commodores[apos] defensive unit and was one of three team captains… A second-team All-American Lacrosse Conference selection by league coaches… a second-team All-South Region pick by the IWLCA… Second on the team in ground balls (36) and caused turnovers (22)… Came up with season-high four ground balls on three separate occasions: vs. Virginia, vs. Cornell and at Duke… Caused season-high three turnovers twice: vs. Mount St. Mary[apos]s and at Northwestern.
2005: Started all 15 matches in the VU defense… Chosen to the All-American Lacrosse Conference Second Team by league coaches… Tied for first on the team with 25 caused turnovers… Second on the team with 40 ground balls… Caused season-high four turnovers at Virginia, while also picking up six ground balls… Forced three turnovers each against Hofstra, Davidson and Northwestern… Scooped up eight ground balls against league-foe Northwestern… Picked up five ground balls against Stanford and four against Hofstra.
2004: Only Vanderbilt freshman to start all 18 games… One of the Commodores[apos] most reliable defenders… Came up with 30 ground balls and caused 20 turnovers… First career assist came in Ohio University game on a goal by Meg Spies… Caused three turnovers in first collegiate game, Feb. 22 versus Virginia… Repeated feat against Ohio Univ…. Picked up four ground balls in NCAA Quarterfinal match against James Madison.
High School: Three-year starter for the Reds… First-team All-Baltimore City/County honoree in 2003… IAAM All-Star team selection… Roland Park[apos]s Defensive MVP twice… High School Academic All-American… Received Amanda Lee Norris Athletic Award… Team captain her senior year… Member of the Cum Laude Society.
