Signed in the spring of 2010 with the Commodores…Granted sixth year of eligibility by the NCAA…6’11 center chose Vanderbilt over Virginia, Wake Forest, Davidson, Cincinnati, Maryland, and Penn State.
2015-16 (Graduate Student):
Played in 31 games and started one…Averaged 3.5 points and 2.2 rebounds per game…Made an 80-foot heave at the end of the first half to give Vanderbilt a 40-35 lead. Was named SportsCenter’s Top Play on February 23…Played season-high 24 minutes at Purdue…Scored season-high 11 points vs. Detroit.
2014-15 (Senior):
Played in 24 games and made two starts…Averaged 2.2 points and 1.2 rebounds per game…Scored a season-high 12 points at Georgia Tech, when he went 5-5 from the floor…Grabbed a season-high six rebounds vs. Tennessee State.
2013-14 (Junior):
Played in eight games before injuring his left knee in a game against Marshall on December 5…Started in three games, and scored in double-figures in three contests…Scored season-high 12 points at Texas on Dec. 2.
2012-13 (Sophomore):
Played in all 33 games and started 21…Averaged 5.4 points and 3.4 rebounds per game…Scored in double figures in seven games, including a career-high 13 points on three occasions – vs. Alabama A&M (12/15), at Tennessee (1/29), and at Kentucky (2/20)…Grabbed career-high seven rebounds vs. William & Mary (1/2)…Blocked career-high three shots vs. Arkansas (2/9) and South Carolina (3/9)…Dished out career-high three assists vs. William & Mary…Had career-best five free throws and seven free throw attempts at Auburn (3/2).
2011-12 (RS Freshman):
Played in only eight games after suffering a stress fracture in his right foot at the end of November…Averaged 2.6 points and 2.9 rebounds per game…Scored a career-high 10 points vs. Monmouth (11/25) – was 4-for-4 from the floor…Also posted a career-best five rebounds against Monmouth…Posted a career-high four assists vs. Bucknell (11/15).

Averaged 20 points, 11 rebounds, four blocks, and four steals per game in his senior season at Caves Spring…His Knights’ team won two district titles, two region titles, and two state titles, and captured the Holiday Hoopla tournament in 2010…Named the team’s MVP for three years, and was the district, region, and state player of the year for two consecutive years..Was the Timesland Player of the Year…Named All-Roanoke Metro in 2009, and was the 2010 Associated Press Player of the Year…Set school record in career rebounds and blocks, and is second all-time in scoring…Member of the A-B Honor Roll.
