2008-09 (Sophomore):
Redshirted in 2008-09 after tearing the ACL in his right knee against MTSU on Nov. 24…Recorded four rebounds and two blocked shots in 19 minutes against Morehead State…Tied a career-high with 10 points on 3-5 shooting against Illinois … Tallied four point and eight rebound effort in first career start against MTSU…Named to the SEC Academic Honor Roll for his work in the classroom.
2007-08 (Freshman):
Played in all 34 games as a freshman and averaged 11.2 minutes per game…Scored a career-high 10 points at Florida (1/27)…Grabbed a career-high seven rebounds vs. Auburn in the SEC Tournament (3/13) – also posted a career-best six assists against the Tigers…Had six rebounds on three different occasions during the year…Scored nine points vs. Valparaiso (11/20)… Played a career high 27 minutes and scored eight points against Alabama (3/8)… Made collegiate debut vs. Austin Peay (11/10); played 12 minutes and scored four points vs. Governors.

A foot injury cut short his lone season at the New Hampshire preparatory school.
Homewood-Flossmoor High School (Ill.):
Averaged 15 points, 8.2 rebounds and 2.6 assists as a senior 2006 … Named one of the most complete players in Chicago by the Chicago Tribune, he helped lead the Vikings to the Illinois Class 2A sectionals in both his junior and senior seasons … Named First Team All-State by the Illinois Basketball Coaches Association and the Chicago Sun Times … Named a McDonald[apos]s All-American nominee .. Selected to compete in the Illinois-Missouri All-Star game … Named First Team All-Area in 2006 and Second Team All-Area in 2005 … In summer 2005, Walker was a member of a Chicago Ferrari squad that won the 17-and-under AAU National Championship … Broke the Illinois state record for most points scored in a half with 26 points during a contest at the Proviso West Christmas Tournament.
