Nashville, Tenn. – Day 3 of the Omaha Challenge brought a tough cardio day to the table with the 300-yard Shuttle and the 2-Minute Drill. The 300-yard Shuttle is exactly what it sounds like, 300 yards of running as fast as you can, 50 yards down and 50 yards back three times. The 2-Minute Drill is one of the toughest of all the Omaha Challenge events. Referred to as the ‘Grand Daddy’ players start off with box jumps followed by a dead lift of 225 pounds then pull-ups and finishing up with cleaning and squatting a 50-pound medicine ball. Oh and all four events are max effort (meaning as many reps as you can do) for 30 seconds (hence the 2-Minute Drill) with 10 seconds between events.
