CHARLOTTE, N.C. — Led by another victory from Aubrey Hull, Vanderbilt swimming saw multiple individuals post the best times not only of the season but their career during a two-day meet against Queens and Rutgers at the Levine Aquatic Center Friday and Saturday.
Making a return to her hometown, Hull won a race for the second time in as may competitions to highlight the Commodores’ performance. Sydney Green, Amelia Peterson, Sophie Pham and Matilda White added the best marks of their swimming career in at least one event during the meet, with Amanda Vileikis and Amanda Vu turning in collegiate career-low times as well.
The Dores conclude the fall season at the Phill Hansel Invitational hosted by Houston, a four-day meet that will get underway on Nov. 17.
“I’m very pleased with our performances this weekend, I think we got a glimpse of what this group can accomplish,” head coach Jeremy Organ said. “We had a lot of swimmers who swam times that are much more reflective of their training, so we are really pleased with where we are at as a squad.”
