NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s golf returns to action Monday at The Ally at Old Waverly Golf Club in West Point, Mississippi. The 54-hole championship will be played over three days as the Commodores aim to build off a top five finish in their last competition.
“I think it’s always a treat for our young ladies to compete on a golf course that’s hosted a major championship and that’s what they’re getting to do this week at Old Waverly,” head coach Greg Allen said. “We’ve talked a lot this season about really locking in on the par 5s so if we can do that this week then I think we can contend. I thought we looked really good in the practice round today and the girls are anxious to get out there and compete again.”
