NASHVILLE, Tenn. – Vanderbilt women’s golf returns to action Friday through Sunday as the Commodores host the annual Mason Rudolph Championship at Vanderbilt Legends Club.
Vanderbilt aims to defend its crown after winning the 2025 Mason Rudolph Championship on its home course. Play will begin at 8:30 a.m. on Friday and Saturday before an 8 a.m. start in Sunday’s final round.
“Hosting the Mason Rudolph at Vanderbilt Legends Club is one of the many honors and privileges of being the head coach at Vanderbilt,” said Commodore skipper Greg Allen. “The staff at Legends does such amazing job by providing a championship golf course and southern hospitality to all the players, coaches and their families.
“I’m excited for our three seniors to get the opportunity to play in one last Mason. Ava, Sara and Macie have done so many great things for our program and it will be fun to see what they continue to do this year. It’s another strong field and we’ve put in a lot of good prep work to be ready to compete at the highest level.”
THE COURSE
- The South Course at Vanderbilt Legends Club will host the weekend festivities and play to a par of 71
- The course is set to play at 6,390 yards
- Groups will tee off the first and 10th holes to open each round
THE FIELD
- 14 programs will join the Commodores for the three-day championship to bring the field to 15 teams
- The 2026 Mason Rudolph Championship features six different squads which appeared in the top 30 of either the Golfweek or Golf Channel preseason polls
- Arizona State, Charleston, Clemson, Florida, Florida Atlantic, Georgia Southern, Long Beach State, Louisville, Middle Tennessee, Mississippi State, North Carolina, Northwestern, Purdue and Western Kentucky will all compete alongside the Dores
THE LINEUP
- All eight members of the Commodore roster will compete in the Mason Rudolph Championship
- Senior Ava Merrill leads the Vanderbilt scoring lineup, joined by Angelina Tolentino, Olivia Wood, Sara Im and Kathryn Ha
- Macie Brown, Claire Henson and Elizabeth Rudisill will compete as individuals
- Vanderbilt will begin its opening round at 9:20 a.m. on Friday morning
