New Year, New Upgrades

Fans can expect new experiences and enhancements around FirstBank Stadium this fall

NASHVILLE, Tenn. – After a historic 2025 season, Vanderbilt football’s Team 6 is set to kick off the 2026 campaign on Saturday, Sept. 5 against Austin Peay. The first 3,000 fans have the opportunity to receive a limited-edition Clark Lea bobblehead.

From an expanded Vandyville and student section to faster entry and upgraded concessions, Vanderbilt has added new experiences and enhancements designed to make Saturdays on West End even better.

Vandyville Reimagined
• Fans can enjoy a new pregame concert experience in Lot 13, the Vanderbilt Police Lot, for each home game
• The Max Nance Kids’ Zone will now be located in the parking lot of the Blakemore House along Vanderbilt Place
• New and enhanced sponsorship activations
• Concessions will be available with food and beverage options available for purchase
• Merchandise offerings from the Vanderbilt bookstore and other vendors throughout the season

Increased Student Section
• The Vanderbilt student section for home games has increased by approximately 1,000 seats

Expanded Concession Stands
• Concession stands between Sections D and E and Sections R and S have been renovated
• Increased point of sale terminals from six to 18 on each concourse
• “Grab and Go” markets are designed to make things as fast as possible so you do not miss a second of game action

West Suites
• The west suites underwent renovations during the offseason to reflect Vanderbilt’s commitment to make the game day atmosphere the best in the country

Field Suites
• New this season, there will be two on-field suites in the southwest and southeast corners of FirstBank Stadium, expanding upon the premium seating offerings

Metal Detectors
• OpenGate walk-through metal detectors are part of Vanderbilt’s ongoing commitment to fan safety and is being implemented in partnership with and with the support of Vanderbilt University Public Safety
• The walk-through detectors were implemented during basketball and baseball season and are now coming to FirstBank Stadium
• Technology enhances existing security measures while also improving the game day experience through faster, more efficient venue entry
• The system is designed to be extremely fan-friendly, allowing guests to simply walk through without stopping, removing items from pockets, lifting arms, or separating personal belongings
• Vanderbilt’s clear bag policy will remain in effect

New Traffic Patterns
• Please note that there will be adjustments to traffic patterns and road closures
• Details will be communicated each game in the Know Before You Go emails and on the Game Day page

Shape Your Game Day Experience
• In addition to new offerings at FirstBank Stadium, fans still have the opportunity to try one of the premium add on game day experiences:

    • Videoboard messages
    • Admirals’ Horn
    • Sideline access
    • Gift bag delivery to seat
    • Watch the team entrance from the field

Fans can still purchase nonconference single-game tickets and four-packs by clicking here. Single-game tickets for SEC games will go on sale later this month, first to National Commodore Club members and then to the general public.

Mini-plans are also available, offering fans a flexible and affordable way to experience Vanderbilt football this season, with packages starting at just $95. Fans can choose between the Black Plan and Gold Plan, each featuring a selection of the Commodores’ biggest home matchups, including SEC games against Ole Miss, Tennessee and more.
