EUGENE, Ore. — Vanderbilt track and field earns three second team and four honorable mention All-American selections Thursday night at Hayward Field, including a record-breaking performance in the 4x400 meter relay. The team of Josie Donelson, Faith Franklin, Joy Moorer and Madyson Wilson clocked a time of 3:30.39 in the 4x400-meter relay to set a program record and earn second-team All-American honors.
Wilson also competed in the 400-meter hurdles, finishing in 57.81 seconds to place 20th and earn honorable mention All-American honors. Falon Spearman competed in the 100-meter-hurdle semifinal, clocking a time of 13.09 seconds to place 15th and earn second-team All-American honors.
Jayden Hill finished in 2:02.78 in the 800-meter semifinal to place 19th and earn honorable mention All-American honors. In the field events, Elizabeth Bailey recorded a mark of 50.12 meters in the javelin to place 15th and earn second-team All-American honors, while Lena Gooden recorded a mark of 5.92 meters in the long jump to earn honorable mention All-American honors.
